Cancer Patients Management Programs
The government started offering medical care services, medication and other supplies free of charge for cancer patients at home and nursing care facilities in 2001. The NCC has been assisting the government by offering education courses for health care providers (nurses, physicians, other health professionals) who are involved in this program. It also published and disseminated cancer pain control guidelines both for health care providers and for patients in 2004.
